August 29, 2011 – Valador Awarded VA Decision Support Services (“DESTINY”) Contract
Herndon, VA– August 29, 2011 — Valador, teamed with Deloitte Consulting was awarded a new Contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of information Technology (OI&T) to provide high-level Decision Support Services to help OI&T reach its goals including ensuring IT programs and projects are designed and executed to satisfy current and future business needs of VA. Valador will be providing the majority of work on this contract including the Studies and Analyses and the Modeling and Simulation. This is a 5 year contract with a value of approximately $18M.
The Office of Architecture, Strategy, and Design (ASD) on behalf of VA Assistant Secretary of Information Technology/Chief Information Officer (CIO), provides a framework of policies, guidance, and governance to ensure IT programs and projects are designed and executed to satisfy current and future business needs of VA. Valador and Deloitte will be providing technical consulting services, business analytics; modeling and simulation techniques, prototypes and technologies; process mapping, analyses and independent assessments and reviews; planning support; web-based decision support (web-based collaborative modeling for enterprise simulation and planning); repositories, and, facilitation and administrative services in support of OI&T, ASD and the CIO.
