Mr. Kaplan came to Valador with over 16 years of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management experience in, the Aerospace and Information Assurance industries. Along with Mr. Kevin Mabie, he started Veritect, the first Commercial 24x7 Managed Security Services Provider. At Veritect, Mr. Kaplan was the Chief Engineer, and was responsible for the design and implementation of Veritect’s Network Security Operations Center and Network Security Consulting offerings..
In addition to his work in Information Assurance, Mr. Kaplan spent many years as a Radar System Engineer working for the Hughes Aircraft Company and Veridian Engineering. His expertise in radar systems led to work on the, F-14, EA-6B, and E-2C aircraft for which he developed laboratory solutions, for radar and avionics system: design, integration, test and training.
At Valador, Mr. Kaplan leads the engineering organization and is focusing on Information Assurance architectures, operations, and management for Valador’s Federal and Commercial customers. His expertise in Information Assurance is sought out by Valador’s Federal Government clients to help, design their Security Architectures, provide them with Technical Security guidance, and build their Certification & Accreditation programs.
Mr. Kaplan received his Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
