May 11, 2004 – Mabie Advances to FBLA Nationals
Herndon, VA, May 11, 2004 — Cole Mabie, Langley High School Sophomore, is advancing to the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Competition at its National Leadership Conference in Denver Colorado on July 14.
Finishing second in the Northern Virginia Regional Competition, Mabie advanced to the state competition where 11 regions and 22 students competed for the highest score on a written exam on Networking Concepts. Cole Mabie finished first in the state competition. The 2004 State Leadership Conference was held on April 17, 2004 in Reston, VA.
FBLA is an organization of students and advisers created to develop the skills required to succeed in the business world. The Virginia FBLA currently has over 17,000 members.
