July 10, 2012 – Keaton L. Beaumont Joins Valador as Director of Human Capital and Business Development
LTC (Ret) Keaton L. Beaumont joined Valador in July 2012 with over 20 years of Human Capital and Program Management experience in the Department of Defense (DoD). He currently leads Valador’s™ Human Resource Department and strategic move into new federal DoD client markets. Prior to joining Valador, Mr. Beaumont served as the principal advisor to the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) on compensation and entitlement issues within DoD and the Combatant Commands. Serving as the only compensation chief from the Joint Staff on numerous DoD level committees, he developed policies for a diverse portfolio of programs that included numerous areas affected by the National Defense Authorization Act and other legislation. Mr. Beaumont hails from Nebraska and was commissioned as an Air Defense Artillery officer in the U.S. Army upon graduation from University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1990.
His operational experience includes platoon leader, battery commander and Human Resource Manager. Additionally, he served as Small Group Instructor in the Armor School; Special Assistant to Director of Army Staff; Congressional Affairs Officer to the ASA M&RA and Chief of Staff Personnel, and Deputy Director, Directorate Action Group, Manpower and Personnel, and Chief of Compensation and Entitlements of the Joint Staff.
Prior to serving the most senior level of leadership in the Pentagon, Lieutenant Colonel Beaumont served as the Senior Human Resource Manager impacting the 43,000-member community in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan over a two year period. He provided Human Capital Management leadership that enabled the Third Army to build and shape what it wanted to become and how it effectively delivered services in a combat operation.
