Herndon, VA– June 22, 2011 — Valador, Inc., a Verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business announced today that Valador was honored at an awards ceremony and was presented with the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) SDVOSB of the Year Award for Outstanding Support and Service.
In 2010, Valador supported FSIS with a task to provide professional IT, analytical, and project management services in order to conduct discovery, observe and model FSIS users and identify stakeholders’ goals, requirements, and expectations of Food Safety Web channels to include the Public (external) FSIS Web Site and the Intranet Web site within FSIS. This task included the formulation of a comprehensive strategy of continuous improvement (CI) of performance and technical infrastructure of the websites. We completed the Firm Fixed Price project successfully, and met or exceeded all of the customer’s expectations for a price significantly lower than the Independent Government Cost Estimate.
