Valador to Exhibit at VA InfoSec Conference
Herndon, VA - April 4, 2007 -- Valador will exhibit its information assurance and modeling and simulation capabilities at the InfoSec Conference and Exposition, hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs in Jacksonville, Florida, from April 9-11, 2007.
Held this year at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Jacksonville, the annual event is run by the VA’s Office of Cyber and Information Security (OCIS) and supported by all VA administrations and staff offices, and provides a forum for discussion of the current status, future direction and potential opportunities for cyber security and information technology in the VA.
With nearly 230,000 employees, the VA is the largest civilian department in the federal government, the second largest agency behind the Department of Defense. VA’s mission is to serve America’s veterans and their families with dignity and compassion and to be their principal advocate in ensuring that they receive medical care, benefits, social support, and lasting memorials promoting the health, welfare, and dignity of all veterans in recognition of their service to the United States. VA OCIS works to ensure the availability and security of the Agency’s critical information assets.
