Valador Wins $50M NASA Contract
Herndon, VA, November 7, 2005 -- Valador Inc, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business headquartered in Herndon VA, was awarded a 5 year, $50M NASA-wide Blanket Purchase Agreement for studies, analyses, modeling, simulation, and technical support services. The BPA will primarily be used to support NASA Headquarters' Program Analysis and Evaluation Office and Office of the Chief Engineer, and is also available for use by all NASA's Centers.
"We are extremely proud to have been selected as the provider for these services as NASA embarks on its new Vision for Space Exploration as presented by the President. These are both exciting and challenging times for NASA as it plans for the future while safely retiring the Space Shuttle," says Dr. Daniel Heimerdinger, Valador Executive Vice President and co-founder. "I am thrilled that NASA has entrusted us with this great responsibility. We have worked with NASA on the Columbia Accident Investigation, Shuttle Return to Flight, and other important studies to define NASA's future. We now will help NASA realize its future, initially with a return to the Moon," says President, CEO, and cofounder Kevin Mabie.
