Herndon, VA - September 29, 2006 -- Valador was awarded three Task Orders under its $50 million NASA Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) in September. The new tasks represent a significant increase in activity under Valador’s BPA. Focused on developing high-level analytical assessments for the space agency, Valador’s new tasks include:
- Conducting an independent assessment of mission focus at NASA to determine appropriate funding priorities;
- Analyzing NASA’s ongoing acquisition strategy, and developing an assessment of mission affordability in the context of the President’s Vision for Space Exploration and the agency’s Strategic Plan; and
- Providing strategic and tactical analyses of institutional risk to missions in the context of infrastructure & administration.
“As NASA seeks to fulfill the President’s Vision for Space Exploration, Valador is exceptionally proud to be a partner in that effort,†says Valador President and CEO Kevin Mabie. “We appreciate their continued commitment to Valador, and hope to continue to earn their confidence through exceptional performance.â€
Valador was awarded a 5 year, $50M NASA-wide BPA in November 2005 for studies, analyses, modeling, simulation, and technical support services to the space agency. Primarily used to support NASA Headquarters' Program Analysis and Evaluation Office and Office of the Chief Engineer, the Valador BPA is also available for use by all NASA Centers.
