Defense Threat Reduction Agency awards the Veridian Team a contract to provide information security and intrusion detection services.
Herndon, VA, April 11, 2002-- Valador was awarded a subcontract by Veridian to provide information security services to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Valador will provide through DISA’s IASSURE contract services including information security architecture analysis, cyber intrusion detection analysis, design services for national security devices, database development and maintenance of Oracle, SQL Server, and Access databases for various security applications, and development of the DTRA information assurance architecture. DTRA requires services to support its agency wide LAN/WAN environment with 4000 users across multiple networks of different classification levels. Valador provides security across the board for their new enterprise architecture including the following networks:
- UNET that supports sensitive but unclassified information
- SNET, a VPN that uses SIPRNET as the transport
- JWICS TS/SCI WAN for intelligence and
- SIPRNET WAN supporting Secret information services
